The Marbella Festival Cup is one of the standout junior rugby touring events on Spain's Costa del Sol, bringing together teams from the UK, Ireland and across Europe for a high-quality festival atmosphere across Easter weekend of 2027.
The tournament combines competitive rugby and the chance to enjoy Marbella's sunny climate and beaches away from the pitch. As the tournament falls on Easter weekend, it's the perfect opportunity to get the group away together and give players something to look forward to before heading into exam season!
Away from the rugby, Marbella offers plenty to keep teams entertained during their free time, with golden beaches, beach clubs, shopping areas, and a lively promenade all within easy reach. Groups can spend an off day exploring Marbella's picturesque Old Town, relaxing by the marina at Puerto Banús, or taking part in activities such as paddle boarding, water parks and golf.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 — Travel to Malaga
Meet as a group for your flight to Malaga (AGP). On arrival, a tour representative meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to your coach for the transfer to your accommodation, your base for the next three nights on a half board basis. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, with dinner included at the hotel. Overnight: hotel accommodation.
Day 2 — Free Day & Optional Activities
After breakfast, enjoy a free day using the hotel facilities or heading to the beach. Alternatively, choose an optional activity such as the Mediterranean Steps in Gibraltar, a Dolphin Adventure Tour, Bowling/Laser Quest, the Amazonia Jungle Tree Experience, an Aqua Park, or surfing, kite surfing and paddle boarding at Tarifa Beach (recommended). Activities cost €30–€55pp, must be booked at least 2 months before arrival, and include bus hire for most of the day. Dinner included at the hotel. Overnight: hotel accommodation.
Day 3 — Festival Day
After breakfast, transfer as a group to the tournament venue. Teams are split into 2 groups of 4 (8 teams max) and play everyone in their group, followed by placement matches (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4) to decide the final standings, with games lasting 10 minutes each way. Presentations follow the final, then transfer back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight: hotel accommodation.
Day 4 — Return Journey
Breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Malaga Airport (AGP) for the flight back to the UK. On arrival, clear customs and continue to the arrivals hall for your own onward arrangements. Those extending their stay are responsible for their own transfer back to the airport. End of touring arrangements with MSG Tours.
