It’s surely only a matter of time before a culture that places so much impetus on team sports uses its infrastructure to become world leading in the global game of football. Certainly, for women, there is no other nation that can match the USA’s yield, sitting atop the world rankings and winners of FIFA’s World Cup.

The remarkable growth of the game at youth level shows little sign of slowing according to participation statistics, overtaking the traditional American sports thanks to its popularity amongst both boys and girls.

Our football tours to USA guarantees one thing, and that’s enthusiasm; from your opposition and appreciation for visiting their club or school. Expect to be well received both on and off the pitch as part of an itinerary that fuses sightseeing of iconic cities to incredible destinations.

Rugby

Our football tours to Portugal are one of our most sought-after European football tour destinations. From the beaches of Lisbon’s Estoril and Cascais resorts, to the classic city of Porto, a football tour to Portugal should be on every player's bucket list.

Located just two hours from most UK airports, Portugal’s home to some incredible players -the famous Mourinho, Santos and Ronaldo, to name but a few. Surprisingly, football here only really began in the late 19th century and the first ever game to be played on mainland Portugal occurred in 1889. Yet as four-time winner of the UEFA Champions League, it’s hard to believe this country is still playing catch-up.

Lisbon is a vibrant city known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively cultural scene. Located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, it boasts a unique charm with its narrow cobblestone streets, pastel-coloured buildings, and iconic trams that traverse its steep hills.

When to visit Portugal? Football tours to Portugal are available August - May. We recommend the touring periods of October, February, Easter and May.

Basketball team posing on an indoor court in red, white, and blue jerseys

For years Italy has been known for its tactical discipline, defensive solidity and fierce rivalries. However, the landscape in Italy, and particularly with youth football, is changing.

Italy is perhaps best known for Inter and AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Napoli, all located around the country's airport gateways.

Verona’s proximity in the north (equipped with its own Serie A team) is perhaps the most diverse in tourist offering. Head into the mountains for altitude training in Brentonico, explore the blue waters of Lake Garda or simply enjoy time in the city itself.

You’re also close enough to Venice and Bologna to view within a day, incorporating nearby Gardaland, Ferrari Museum or pizza making classes outside of your football schedule.

When to visit Italy? Football tours to Italy are available September - May, most suitable for October, February, Easter and May half terms.
