Sample Itinerary
Day 1 (Friday) — Travel to Cork
Meet at your regional airport for your flight to Cork (1 x small under-seat bag per person, 45 x 25 x 20cm). On arrival, meet your minibus driver for the transfer to your hostel in central Cork. Overnight: Sheila's Hostel, Cork.
Day 2 (Saturday) — Pool Fixtures
Start with continental breakfast at the hostel (+€4pp) or a full Irish at a local café, then board your minibus at 09:00 for Kinsale RFC (approx. 30 minutes). Pool matches start at 10:00, with over 150 matches across the weekend. The Heineken marquee bar opens around midday with music all day, and the food marquee serves from 10:00. Play ends at 18:30, the marquee stays open until around 20:00, then it's the minibus back to Cork for the rest of the evening. Overnight: Sheila's Hostel, Cork.
Day 3 (Sunday) — Knockouts & Finals
Breakfast at the hostel (+€4pp) or a local café, then the 09:00 minibus to Kinsale RFC. Pool play finishes in the morning before all competitions move to the knockout stages, with plate competitions and trophies in the open and social sections so teams of every level have something to play for. Play ends at 18:30, and after the marquee closes around 20:00 there's an optional post-festival wrap party in Kinsale town (tickets at the event marquee). Take the 20:00 minibus back to Cork, or stay on in Kinsale and arrange taxis back later. Overnight: Sheila's Hostel, Cork.
Day 4 (Monday) — Return Journey
Check out and take the minibus to Cork Airport (ORK) (approx. 15 minutes) for your flight home (1 x small under-seat bag per person). On arrival, clear customs and continue with your own onward arrangements. End of tour. Flight times are an example and may vary.
