Uppingham School: Pre Season Rugby Tour to Snowdonia

This summer we’ve been putting the focus on our home turf, the beautiful, and often underestimated, island of Great Britain. We were thrilled to welcome back our friends from Uppingham School for a pre-season tour to Snowdonia. After a quick training session at the school they departed for North Wales. On arrival, they checked into the wonderful boarding houses of Rydal Penrhos. Replete with gym, swimming pool, astro-turf, grass training pitches and only a stone’s throw from the Welsh coastline; it was a perfect base. Over the following days they trained hard, bonded whilst surfing and completed a Ninja Warrior assault course. Director of Sport and ex Scotland centre, Nick de Luca, was thrilled with his side’s preparations and the way MSG Tours facilitated them. Here is a selection of activities that Uppingham School did on their sports tour to Snowdonia: Surfing at Adventure Parc Snowdonia Ninja Warrior (indoor) Aber Falls Distillery Snowdon Hike Beach day Parc Eiras Training Facilities Taking the team out of their comfort zone Playing sport in a new environment Helping out with local charity Experiencing a different culture Our guide price for this five-day tour is £850.00 per person including all flights, transportation, accommodation, meals, excursions and sporting activities.
