Hereford College’s Rugby Tour to Romania

Hereford College’s rugby team had an unforgettable six-day tour of Romania, taking on top-level fixtures in the legendary land of Dracula. The tour kicked off in Brașov , nestled in the heart of Transylvania. During their two-night stay, the team faced local side Cristian Rugby Club in the opening match of the tour. They also explored Bran Castle , a 650-year-old Saxon castle – famously known as the home of Dracula . Next, the squad headed south to Romania’s capital, Bucharest. A guided bus tour showcased the city’s historic landmarks such as the Palace of Parliament and the Bucharest Old Town.
