Wales v Japan Hospitality Day
Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff
Saturday 19th November 2016
It was our pleasure to welcome our club, school, military and Lions Tour clients to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff for our Wales v Japan Hospitality Day at the weekend.
100 guests joined us for the day, featuring tour presentations by MSG staff and guest speakers from the world of rugby, MC’d by Paul Fielding of Legends Hospitality. British Lion, England Rugby and MSG Ambassador Tim Stimpson took us through his playing journey followed by another full back – Lee Byrne – of Wales and Lions stock. Ex-Bath, Gloucester, Melbourne Rebels, NEC Harlequins and Ospreys No.8 Gareth Delve completed the triumvirate, documenting his worldwide career with particular focus on his two year spell in Japan.

Our aim was to have a little light-hearted fun and get to know our clients that little bit better. Many new friendships were made around the room with promises of catch ups the next time we’re frequenting Cardiff on match day.
After a sumptuous selection of curries our event staff led all of our guests to the Principality Stadium for the thrilling 33-30 Wales victory. We certainly felt a little sorrow for our Japanese colleagues who had travelled to Cardiff as part of our Hospitality Day. They deserved at least a draw for their fine attacking play and flair!
The day couldn’t have been possible without our colleagues at the Radisson Blu Hotel, BAA Brewery and Japan National Tourism Organisation in London. The room looked superb with credit rightly apportioned to Katie and Meg @msgtours for their creativity and attention to detail.
“Thank you MSG for setting up such a great day that was absolutely action packed and full of important information and entertainment” J. Ferriman, Lions Tourist.
Thanks once again for our clients’ support and friendship and we look forward to Delivering the Unexpected on your personal travel journeys with @msgtours.
