Why New York?

Our Performing Arts study trips to the USA are predominantly based in New York. ‘The Big Apple’ offers diverse culture, an abundance of landmarks, and a plethora of musicals and live drama performances. Most of all, New York is fantastic for any kind of performing arts. From music to theatre and dance, it’s all packed into one great city.

Big Apple, big learning opportunities

What better place for students to embrace their passion for performing than the home of Broadway. As a result, we offer our students a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in an acting or dance workshop here. Planned around a particular performance, pupils are also given the chance to later watch the show, significantly enhancing their appreciation of their own piece.

Further, New York is known to be a popular filming location. With the chance to visit TV & Movie Tour sets, students get to grips behind the scenes and on camera.

It’s the perfect location to give students a practical understanding of many performing arts curriculum topics such directing, backdrop setting, and technical design.
