Rugby Tours to Holland
As a rugby tour destination, Holland is gaining a credible reputation on the rugby field across all age groups, thanks in part to their solid league structure and flagship Hilversum Youth rugby tournament that emphasise all the right reasons to play the game.
The rugby clubs across the country offer teams a warm welcome. Anyone who has taken their team or school on a rugby tour to Holland has countless tales of lengthy post-match hospitality! With regional flights from across the UK, along with the ready availability of coach travel, Holland as a rugby tour destination really is an affordable and simplistic option for your forthcoming trip.
“We went out as boys and came back as men. We played rugby, displayed our talent and returned as champions. We shopped, laughed, danced and enjoyed everybody’s company. We can’t wait for the next tour.”
– Gavin Shore, Newbridge RFC

When to visit?
For youth rugby teams we would highly recommend the spring months of March/April (depending on when Easter falls) so that we can combine your rugby tour with the Hilversum Youth tournament. The weather at this time of year is favorable, not too hot and not too cold, enabling perfect playing conditions. Generally speaking otherwise, September through to May is the best time to visit Holland on your group organised rugby tour.
What our customers say
Members of Newbridge RFC Youth Team were one of the many teams to descend on Holland for the Hilversum International Youth Tournament over the Easter weekend. The 22-strong rugby group, made up of players and coaches, enjoyed four days in Holland and returned home victorious having claimed 1st place in the U17’s category! Aside from the rugby tournament, the group took advantage of any free time they had by exploring the city delights of Amsterdam whilst staying at the perfectly located StayOkay Vondelpark.
