Rugby Tours to Georgia

Rugby teams who book a tour package to Georgia with MSG are in for a surprise… and a challenge!

Georgia is a short-haul destination from the UK, making it a perfect school rugby team tour destination. With a variety of cultural excursions on offer and stunning scenery, don’t overlook this rising star in the rugby scene.

If you enjoy a success story about a nation that has planned and strategised growth into success then take note of this future powerhouse. Think again if you believe the recent set of victories against Namibia and Tonga at the Rugby World Cup were a one-off. A meticulous Union set up has enabled a structure that is consistently churning out quality, demonstrated by their extended reign on the European Nations Cup in 2016.

Whilst the trend is for those with ambition in rugby to ply their trade in France, there still remains a healthy core of full-time professionals to bolster a functioning and competitive national league, thus making Georgia rugby tours a very attractive prospect for clubs and school rugby teams.

Touring rugby teams will receive a warm greeting from very passionate people who are fanatical about rugby. We don’t get many touring teams and welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our potential and hosting to club teams from the UK.”

– Milton Haig, Georgia National Coach

With an exciting array of cities to visit (Batumi, Gudauri, Kutaisi ,Tbilisi) and an excursion list that offers respite from the rigours of match day preparation, you’ll be nothing but impressed at Georgia’s rugby quality and competitiveness of packages for your next rugby tour.

    What our customers say

Back in March of 2017, The Abu Dhabi Harlequins U15s headed to Georgia for their nine-night rugby tour. The 59-strong group, made up of players, parents and coaches, enjoyed three rugby fixtures and participated in many cultural excursions on rest days, making this a memorable rugby tour for the players. They ended their tour with a day and night in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri.

A great rugby experience for our lads and the coaches! It was a privilege to play in such great facilities and against teams that were not only strong and fast, but had tremendous technical ability and organisation. It’s spurred us on to get even better and to work harder.”

    – Dominic, Abu Dhabi Harlequin’s Head Coach
