We believe in creating magical moments and helping youngsters develop throughout their playing journeys. That’s why we are proud to be supporting one of our longest serving rugby clubs, Bedlinog RFC, as they strive to deliver better training environments to develop a sustainable platform for their youngest recruits.
Through our partners at RAM Rugby, we have provided Bedlinog RFC with training materials and equipment to support their coaches in the Cubs’ inaugural year. With a healthy crop of 40 children turning out regularly we’re assured the equipment will be put to good use among this enthusiastic community.
Cubs Manager and coach Melanie said: “We just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to MSG for their generous donation of the equipment. It has already arrived and is currently in my living room waiting to be put to good use once the weather picks up.”
MSG Director, Mark Gardner, was equally effusive about becoming involved with the minis and juniors. “As a supporter of a club that demonstrates excellent values it was a simple decision for us to invest in the next generation of players. We hope that the kit we’ve provided, alongside the zest and ambition of the fantastic volunteer coaches, creates a wave of players as exciting as what we see on the field every Saturday.”
We’re also excited to welcome the Bedlinog U8 Cubs to our home city of Derby in September where they will be testing their newly-developed skills against Derby RFC and enjoy the thrill-seeking delights of nearby Alton Towers. MSG Tours Consultant, Huw Jones, is an ex-player at Bedlinog RFC and front runner for escorting the players and parents to Derbyshire on their first ever tour. ‘We imagine their singing will certainly improve before the weekend is out! ’
