Four weeks into the job, Daya Dhadli, our new marketing intern goes on a school study trip to Paris. That’s right, she’s off with 35 students and 5 teachers, responsible for ensuring a smooth trip. That means organising and liaising between teachers, pre-booking excursion and so forth… Oh, and the obligatory visit the happiest place in the world.
Every Study Trip to Paris requires a visit to The Magical Kingdom
The jam-packed study trip to Paris included a couple of days visiting the Montparnasse and Eiffel Tower, taking a boat ride down the Seine on the Bateaux Mouches boat, visiting the Louvre, Centre Pompidou cafes and more, followed by a day in Disney Land Paris. Daya kept the trip as swift as possible, pre-booking breakfast and dinners, organising coach times and keeping the world update via social media. Keeping it stress free for the teachers who enjoyed their time as much as the children!

“My time in Paris was amazing. Having never been before I thought it would be quite the challenge to be a tour operator on this trip, but it pushed me to do my research and be as prepared as possible. I met some lovely teachers and students, and have developed so many personal and professional skills. Paris is such a wonderful city and as Audrey Hepburn had to say: “Paris is always a good idea”; I could not agree more.
Further, looking back to the end of finishing first year of university, I did not expect to be given such an amazing opportunity to blog, refurbish the website, assist with financial work – relevant to my degree, or even travel! MSG have graciously given me the chance and responsibility.”
