Hockey Tours to Spain
School team hockey tours to Spain are an affordable option for visiting teams. Regional flight links from across the UK make this an easy choice for hockey teams on tour.
For all-round hockey team match level suitability, we would highly suggest a tour to Spain’s Basque County. With our European HQ hosted in this region, both Bilbao and San Sebastian are extremely popular choices. Perfect for the summer months to take a trip abroad and attend pre-season fixtures and practise training, relaxing on the sunny beach and embracing the Spanish culture. A further opportunity is available on request to extend the trip and step over the French border to Bayonne and Biarritz for a full Basque region benefit en route home.
Excitement is building ahead of our Boys’ #Hockey tour of northern #Spain over the half term break, which departs on Sunday and has been organised once again by the amazing @msgtours. #RPEffect @HockeyWales @RydalPenSport

If the Basque County isn’t your thing then why not head to Barcelona, the city offers high level hockey fixtures in the nearby town of Terrassa and the opportunity to visit the incredible Nou Camp Stadium (home of FC Barcelona).
Other options include; Valencia, for an incredible array of sights, sounds and sporting theatres. Offering stunning beaches for that much-needed R&R and the chance for the group to experience one of the 12 Treasures of Spain (the City of Arts and Sciences,) Valencia is a great alternative option for touring hockey teams.
Feeling particularly adventurous? Team together Barcelona and Valencia for a truly spectacular week-long hockey experience. Spain has much to offer a touring hockey team so it is no wonder that this part of the world is an attractive touring destination for school hockey teams.

When to visit Spain?
The Spanish hockey season runs in line with the UK and thus school holiday periods provide the perfect opportunity to get away from the UK and visit sunny Spain on a hockey tour.
When it comes to Spain it’s most certainly no stranger to most of us here at MSG Tours.
“There is something for everyone in sunny España, an impeccable combination of a beach and city break. One day lounging on the sand and playing volleyball at the beach and the next day you’re walking through the heart of the city surrounded by beautiful Catalan architecture. Spain’s rich cultural history, various restaurants, ports and daily events never fail to keep everyone entertained throughout the entirety of the trip…and the traditional street food is quite delicious too!”
