Hockey Tours to New Zealand

Our hockey trips to New Zealand include playing hockey against local teams who are as passionate about the sport as you are, homely accommodation and an assortment of activities off the pitch. New Zealand is a real favourite of ours here at MSG, and your tour manager will be on hand around the clock to ensure a memorable and exciting trip.

Like all of the country’s team sports, New Zealand excel at field hockey in both the male and female upper echelons. Quite what it is that makes them so competitive must surely be down to their DNA. Thus, teams embarking on hockey tours to New Zealand face a tough challenge at all age levels.

The hardest part is deciding what to leave out over the two contrasting Islands. The rugged South offers Christchurch, Dunedin and adrenalinefuelled Queenstown whilst the geothermal north and balmier climate lists Wellington, Napier, Taupo, Rotorua and Auckland as its staples.

Our advice: spend as long as you can there, cover both Islands by bus and make sure you add in a few nights’ billeting to sample the incredible hospitality afforded by the locals.
