Emily Sanders joins MSG Tours from ST
MSG Tours are excited to announce the newest member of our team – Emily Sanders.
Emily will join the MSG Tours team in South Wales (once we are able to return to the office) having built up an impressive repertoire in sports travel. She joins us from our competitors in South Wales, Strachan Travel and will immediately begin work on the Lions Tour 2021.
Across 15 years of work in the industry, Emily has worked for the Welsh Rugby Union, Travel Places, Gullivers Sports Travel and Strachan Travel.
Having arranged Supporters’ Tours all over the world, Emily provides us with an abundance of experience and a strong reputation within the South Wales market. Her previous tours include the Ashes in Australia, the Rugby World Cup in France, Sevens Tournaments in Las Vegas, Dubai and Hong Kong, and more recently the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
Emily’s Sports Travel Experience
Emily’s travel career begun by arranging the travel for the WRU. Then, she joined Gullivers to work on the Ashes Supporters’ Tours before moving to work within their aviation team. For almost 10 years, Emily worked at Travel Places on rugby tours before her duties extended to scout trips and large-scale participation events.
Emily returned to South Wales as a Groups and Sport Travel Executive with Strachan Travel. Working directly with the Welsh rugby public, she has arranged many a tour and spent plenty of time leading groups of fans around the world to support their beloved team.
After a year and a half with our competitors, she has made the switch to MSG Tours to help us #DeliverTheUnexpected on our Supporters’ Tours.
Emily, ‘The Organiser’ said: “I am really excited to be joining MSG Tours in time for their launch of their amazing Lions packages. MSG really go the extra mile for their supporters and already have a loyal following which I can’t wait to be a part of.
“I am incredibly lucky to be able to travel the world and watch rugby as part of my job! It is now even better as I get to do it with the best rugby fans in the world – you can’t beat being part of the ‘Welsh Rugby’ family on tour!
“I hope to see you all in South Africa next year.”
