School Ski Trip Overview
Skiing in the USA, and particular Maine, is surely part of any skier’s bucket list. Last year, Cardiff’s St. John’s College were able to tick this off on their visit to Sunday River and arguably the ‘Best Mountain Park’ as voted for by Yankee magazine.
Under the guidance and tutelage of three hugely experienced and entertaining instructors, the three groups were able to explore this astounding ski area under the best supervision possible. With all the equipment needed provided by outstanding resort staff, St John’s were able to cover huge areas of these amazing pistes in the most brilliant conditions.
Additionally, when not on the pistes the group enjoyed a different activity each day as well as skiing. These included ten-pin bowling, a quiz night, tubing, and a tour of the world acclaimed Harvard University on their Boston stopover.
This trip was certainly an opportunity to ski in some of the world’s best conditions, in one of the best resorts and combine their time with cultural and enjoyable activities which will have doubtless created everlasting memories for the group and expanded their horizons.
