Activities Tour to the Lake District
Trip Overview
Our very own staff decided to take a day out of the office to have a team building day in the beautiful Coniston, located in the Lake District.
Arriving early in the morning, the team met their leader Phil, who knows the ins and outs of the activities, having worked in the outdoor education sector for the last 14 years. He kitted the team out with wetsuits and life jackets and decided to start the team with some scrambling through the surrounding waterfalls and lakes. Everyone threw themselves into this activity, even when the water was 4ft deep!
Once they had dried off, Phil took the team to the Cathedral Quarry. This was where the braver of the team abseiled down 100 feet of rock. To say this got the adrenaline pumping would be an understatement!
The final activity was one of the favourites of the group. Phil decided that canoeing would be appropriate at this time of day as the water was calmer and it was the perfect place to watch the beautiful sunset. And how right he was! The team had the perfect view for watching the sun set on the fun-filled day they had.
Memories truly were made.
